Therapy in Arizona & Florida

One of the main reasons people seek therapy is for help with intimate and close relationships.

As humans, forming connections is one of our primary needs and motivations. These relational connections could be with family members, co-workers or colleagues, or with friends, but one of the primary areas of difficulty is in romantic relationships.

Look, it's no secret that romantic relationships can be both amazing and empowering while sometimes also being frustrating and hurtful. Whenever humans come together romantically, we bring with us the baggage from our childhoods and often the ghosts of former partners.  If not lovingly and supportively addressed, these echoes from the past can cloud communication, cause unwanted hurt, and inflict pain.

We can help couples identify what's working well and what's not working, uncover the historical roots of your challenges, and then help you learn new communication tools, better ask for your needs and wants, improve healthy boundaries, and create the relationships you want!

We also love working with individuals who want to make their relationships better and more satisfying, or even want to figure out how they can show up better!  We can help solo clients work on:

  • Attachment styles

  • Boundaries

  • Navigating dating or exploring new relationships

  • Sexuality

  • Issues related to coming out

  • Figuring out if it's time to stay or leave

Oh, and this is a gentle reminder that relationship counseling isn't just for couples who are struggling! We love supporting people who have solid relationships learn the tools necessary to continue to grow and deepen their relationships, and the best time to engage in relationship counseling is before problems arise!

We support and are affirming to those in all sorts of relationships: monogamous, non-traditional, same sex, and polyamorous...and we are kink friendly. All are welcome here!
